Disposition:

AGGRESSION/ABRASIVE
"She's like this a lot. It's okay. You'll get used to it."

Beau is described multiple times as someone you get used to or warm up to because she puts forward an abrasive attitude that is immediately apparent to others. She questions people and accidentally or intentionally insults them. Over her time with her adventuring party she learns a lot about a gentle approach and how to open up, but still falls back to old habits. She still often says the "wrong" thing and puts her foot in her mouth.

She also self-admittedly loves a fight but learns to seek "appropriate" avenues as an outlet for her fiery side such as fighting rings, competitions or training.

INTELLIGENT
"Goddamn it. Okay, I'm going to try-- I'm trying to piece everything together here."

Beau's recklessness and impulsivity initially hold her back from exploring her full potential, but with time in the party to grow and observe others she starts to come into her own. She develops her ability to study and process information and utilises the fact that she is keenly observant and quick-witted.

Beau has been responsible for connecting many dots that drew her adventuring party to gain an edge on their enemies and understanding their weaknesses.

Her abilities and studies as a monk have enhanced these innate capabilities by allowing her to absorb information, comprehend spoken language, extract information by striking pressure points etc (more on this in abilities).

PROTECTIVE
"If we ever come across as assholes, it's only out of love."

Despite the abrasiveness and the cooling off period that comes with Beau, she's one of the first to truly think of The Might Nein as her friends and family. With that comes the assertion that she would lay down her life for them.

This comes into play often during battles, Beau will fight fiercely for her loved ones even when she's clearly outmatched or outnumbered. She has offered to sacrifice herself or her happiness for the sake of her friends.

She will also intervene, haze or threaten people who wrong her loved ones and is wary of anyone she thinks has bad intentions.

REBELLIOUS/STUBBORN
"I respect you and all of your intentions, but your caution does not get to control other people's destinies."

Beau has been rebelling against authority and expectations for a long part of her life, even after finding friendship and purpose her wariness got the better of her. She butts heads with her friends and questions their motives early on, particularly when she feels strongly about something. Unfortunately, gut instinct is rarely a strong argument for your case and it has resulted in Beau appearing needlessly stubborn (which she can be).

This can make her difficult to warm up to as she often struggles to articulate why she's so passionate about something without insulting someone. In particular, she butts heads often with Caleb who has a slightly more reserved and pragmatic approach and motives that don't always align with hers, but they eventually find their strengths complement one another and they work toward common goals even beyond the campaign.

Beau has strong opinions and feelings about people, places, colours etc which can lead to tension although generally speaking she's reasonably open minded and happy to let others do their thing unless it encroaches upon her personal space.


Suitability:
Beau is from a world where magic is relatively commonplace, so her mind won't be completely blown. She will be excited with the new powers, within canon when she has been granted powers from questionable sources she still used them eagerly and willingly.

Transformations will startle her and will take some getting used to, but aren't likely to traumatise her.

She will easily cope with synchrony and generating manna as she can warm to people well enough to show affection. She is a lesbian in a committed relationship, but likely knows her partner well enough to understand that she would be sympathetic to the circumstances.

Condition upon arrival:
Tired and probably in need of some basic healing but in one piece, slightly shaken from the events she just experienced.

Abilities:
The following skills/abilities are a combination of Beau's innate abilities and ones granted by the Order of The Cobalt Soul. Arguably, her proficiency is a mix of her own talent and intense training.

Her skills and abilities as a Monk make her an extremely proficient fighter skilled in martial arts, she is fast this enables her to attack multiple times per round. It also enhances her ability to dodge and evade strikes. Her speed and efficiency in travel also enables her to fall safely from a height and run on water.

The order she trained with, The Cobalt Soul, is an order with a strong focus on knowledge and study. Many of her skills revolve around the ability to efficiently gain knowledge. Beau was initially reluctant but eventually became an extremely diligent note taker and researches extensively. She utilises resources for information and has strong investigative abilities. Her memory and her diligent documentation has been extremely useful.

Ki is a mystic energy Beau can harness in order to make the most of her attacks, she can stun, she can force people to tell the truth or she can use strikes to read a person's weaknesses from their body. She can attempt and fail at all of these, it's determined by a mix of both her and her opponents luck and skill.

She is immune to disease and poison, this has wiggle room potential as all disease and poison here is "alien" and perhaps leaves her at a disadvantage.

Eyes of Nine:
Beau was exposed to a pattern in a book that caused physical changes (appearance of red eyes) and terrifying dreams.

At her canon point, she has two eyes and has developed the following abilities:
